How cute were you as a baby/child? Let's see those baby pics!
This picture was taken when I was 5 years old. I had just jumped backwards into the pool at my Aunt Kathy's house. I probably did those bangs myself actually! :-) i had a habit of taking the snippers to my own hair back then. It was some summer picnic, and everyone was swimming down at the pool. I was the youngest cousin allowed to the pool without the adults, provided my elder cousins watched after me. They didn't; or least not well enough. They were all jumping into the pool backwards off the edges. I, being the youngest and the smallest, didn't have enough body strength to push myself away from the wall when I jumped in. So, when I jumped in, I cracked my chin on the edge of the pool. I am sure it hurt, and I am sure I cried. But I don't remember any of that. Just trouble my couins got into, and the balloon and ice cream I got after the ER visit! ;-) Man o Man did my couins get in troooouble! lol They had to close to pool down for the rest of the day too - since my blood got everywhere. I've still got the scar. Right under mychin. I had stiches and everything. What I think is most funny about this picture, is how much of my baby brother El I can see in it. The same face shape, the same squiny eyes, the same pulled mouth smile. He looked JUST like that as a kid, except his skin was paler (if you can believe that) and his hair was red! ;-)
So, how did you do with that weekend goal? No goal? What did you do this weekend?
I did want to try and get some laundry done - which I did complete Sat nite. I also went to work on Saturday and walked around Ybor with two clients. A crack whore and a cross dresser. They're so much fun, and so easy to work with. Nope, I'm not kidding! ;-) We got ice cream in Ybor and walked around the Ybor Saturday Market. Because we're trying to keep the crack whore off the crack, she gets to smoke pot with staff when she can afford it. Again, I'm SO not kidding. I finally got to see the movie Xanadu*. One that I'd never seen, except for bits when some asshole had to show me his favorite dance bits. I like it actually. I've got the Theme song stuck in my head now, thats for sure. Xandauuuu..... :-) Sat nite I went out to dinner with my husband for the lastSunday I worked too. With a diff client, and we went swimming and played in her hot tub. To keep her from peeping, stealing and snooping we just keep her busy with other fun activities. It's hot, and the pool is free. she loathes to spend money. Sunday nite I spent the evening with the hubby, veggin and watching old TV shows. We rewatched the Season Finale of Charmed {wiki link} and then the most recent Epi of the 4400. {wiki link} Both very good, actyally! ;-) I cried during the Charmed ep, just like last time. :-)
